Bonita Springs Florida is located in Lee County and part of the Cape Coral and Fort Myers Metropolitan area. If located on the southwest coast of Florida along the Gulf of Mexico. Bonita Springs is about 30 minutes or 28 miles South of Fort Myers and two hours West or about 130 miles from Miami.
Bonita Springs is home to about 44,000 residents and is comprised of golf course country club estates, beautifully master plan subdivisions, gorgeous beaches, and exquisite shopping and dining. Located on both Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico it’s often referred to as Bonita Beach and is considered one of West Coast Florida’s northernmost cities with a tropical climate.
Bonita Springs is primarily a retirement and vacation community but several residents call Bonita Springs their permanent home year-round. A number of businesses find Bonita Springs an ideal location due to low business taxes and an abundance of inexpensive commercial office space. Bonita Springs is served by the Lee County school district and is home to the Florida Gulf Coast University and Edison College. The Southwest Florida International Airport services Bonita Springs in South Fort Myers and the Naples Municipal Airport is a little bit closer but primarily used for private aviation.

Bonita Springs beaches are one of the more popular hotspots and the Barefoot Beach and Preserve Park is a 340 acre natural land preserve and one of the last undeveloped barrier islands on Florida’s southwest coast. There are several parks along this section of coastline including the Little Hickory Island Beach Park, Bonita Beach Park and Lovers Key State Park which is an over 1600 acre park made up of four barrier islands. Our beaches and parks are ideal for strolling the coastline, camping, birdwatching, beachcombing, and surfing.
