The Benefits to Living in a Gated Community in Bonita Springs
It’s true that Bonita Springs, Naples and Estero all have their fair share of gated communities and clubs throughout the neighborhoods and subdivisions but is there really a plus to living in a gated community?
If you’ve never lived in a gated community before you might think it’s a hassle to punch in numbers or use key codes to get in and out of your community. And then, what about guests or visitors? How do I show the house once I put it up for sale? Do I even want to bother looking at homes in gated communities?
These are all valid concerns but surprisingly enough showing homes in gated communities is not as difficult or as much of a hassle as you might think. Simply showing a home for sale in a gated community is easy because the listing agent provides either an access code or meet clients at the property and buzzes them in. There also can be a temporary passcode for visitors and guests to enter at the front gate. When it comes time to sell the property you won’t have to worry about a sign in your front lawn but there will be signs out by the front of the gate or communities will have their own restrictions on how owners can list and sell their properties. Every home in a gated community that’s listed with a real estate agency will be shown online so touring the home ahead of time or checking out virtual tours is easy online.
Extreme positives with a gated community.
People have the sense of security when they live in a gated community. They won’t have to worry about solicitors or people wandering the neighborhoods that don’t belong. Many people that live in a gated community also have additional security systems in place for that added protection. But, living in a gated community is sometimes security enough. You won’t have a lot of solicitors unless they live in the community themselves and there may be specific requirements and restrictions on even local solicitors such as Girl Scouts or school fundraisers.
People buy homes in gated communities for a variety of reasons but they certainly do not turn away from them because they appear high maintenance or something to hassle with. The security, reputation, and convenience of a gated community is what draws people to the Bonita Springs area.
